ANN ARBOR, MI — Ann Arbor has a new timeline for completing state-mandated replacements of home water lines that may pose lead risks for residents.

While city officials said last year it could be a 20-year undertaking, they now say it could be done in a quarter of that time with the help of $2 million in federal stimulus funds and fewer lines to replace than previously estimated.
