PITTSBURGH — Police were on the scene of a barricade situation in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

According to a tweet from Pittsburgh Public Safety, a man barricaded himself inside a home in the 100 block of Oakland Court.

Police said the man inside was located safely, and he will be evaluated by medics and taken to “get the assistance he needs.”

All streets in the area have since reopened.
