Coldwater High School hosted the annual Local Scholarship Award Night Wednesday.

About $310,000 in scholarship money was awarded to 65 CHS seniors, six Early Middle College students and 15 alumni to be invested in their dreams of pursuing higher education. 

It came from Coldwater families, Branch County service clubs and organizations, Century Bank and Trust, Southern Michigan Bank and Trust, the Branch County Community Foundation, and representatives from the Branch Area Careers Center and Coldwater Community Schools.
