LFF Group has continued its growth in the APAC region, with the company’s Pipelines & Infrastructure division recently awarded another major pipeline project in Australia.

The team at LFF Pipelines & Infrastructure (P&I) worked closely with Santos from a technical and commercial perspective through 2021, before being awarded the contract in December.

The supply contract includes the manufacture of over 55,000 m of 250NB API 5L X65MS PSL2 NACE MR0175 / ISO15156 HFW line pipe, with fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) external coating.

The pipes will be used for Santos’ Moomba Carbon Capture and Storage project in the Cooper Basin, South Australia.

The LFF P&I team said it appreciated the opportunity to work alongside Santos, and joint venture partner Beach Energy, to deliver the line pipe required for this leading Australian carbon reduction project.
